Artemisa's jewelry designing career started in 2001. She began using semi-precious stones, crystals, glass, shells and precious metal beads strung artistically into necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Soon after making jewelry pieces for friends and family, she started selling her pieces at local craft shows and exhibiting her works at art shows. Most recently her work graced the runway during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim with Caitlin Kelly Designer Swimwear.

Now she currently works with copper, brass, aluminum, gold filled and sterling silver creating unique wearable art pieces that have caught the eyes of celebrity stylists and high end clothing designers. She also has another style to her works showing her love for SoCal beach living with pearly white shells, wispy sterling bracelets and silhouettes of the sea.

Artemisa resides in San Diego, California with her husband and daughter, along with three dogs and two turtles. She works out of her home studio after her full time job as a Behavior Intervention Assistant in the Special Education program at the local school district. She loves to work with kids and hopes someday she could reach out to youngsters through the art of jewelry making. During the summer months, she loves to teach surf lessons at her beloved Surf Diva Surf School in beautiful La Jolla, Ca.
